Department Overview

The Contract Manager will oversee operations of a Global CLM team executing contract lifecycle management tasks, focusing on contracts requiring English or global language support. Key responsibilities include reviewing drafted contracts, supporting their team during contract approvals/execution, and conducting reporting and escalations with their leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Enterprise Legal operations, effectively oversee a growing team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Drafting Oversight: Oversee the completion of contract drafting work, ensuring first drafts prepared by Global CLM paralegals are delivered as required
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders for additional information as needed, redirecting complex requests as needed
• Contract Execution: Oversee timely contract approvals and execution, providing guidance to paralegals and legal assistants as needed
• Escalating Risks: Escalate complex contracting risks and/or issues to Senior Manager
• Communications: Consolidate reporting on contracting status and KPIs to concisely communicate updates to Senior Manager

Qualifications

• Experience managing Icertis or similar CLM tool
• Prefer 5-7 years of managing paralegals and/or legal assistants in corporate legal setting
• Ability to independently manage multiple contracts per day and effectively communicate risks
• Bachelor’s degree and prefer 7-10 years of Legal training
